Description

ESA UV-2 is a flame detector for industrial use with a robust, die-cast aluminum body, ISO plug and socket, and threaded connection for the flame-facing end. UV-rays (not daylight or artificial light from discharge or filament lamps) ionize the gas inside the UV-tube, causing the spectral response shown on the chart in the literature. UV-2 may be used with any electronic system ESA produces.

The standard UV-2 has a ¾ BSP connection. Models with ½ BSP connection are available. Other options include a high temperature version and a port for introducing cooling air. A modular self-check shutter can be added to the UV-2 for continuous operation (note: corresponding program through ESTRO V2.2 is required).
