The EMB series are metallic gas burners, used for direct heating. These burners allow excess air, stoichiometric, and excess gas regulation. Depending on the size and use, this type of burner can be sued for natural gas and LPG combustion (in the standard version) and other types of gaseous combustion agents with different heating properties (special versions on request).

The EMB is a nozzle mix burner; air and fuel are mixed at the combustion head to avoid dangerous backfiring. The particular shape of the combustion head allows adjustments in stoichiometric ratio and in excess air or excess gas. The EMB is suitable for use with preheated combustion air up to 1020°F.

EMB burners develop the maximum capacity in stoichiometric ratio with 45 mbar of air pressure. This implies the use of low prevalence blowers which are also inexpensive; the set-up is simplified due to the special differential pressure plugs that allow for the measurement of air and gas flow.
