Description

QZERO is a simple flame switch for monitoring the presence of flame via flame rod or UV.

A redundant three-channel architecture with diagnostics ensures safety. A relay contact is activated when flame is detected. A second relay contact signals failure when the presence of flame is not confirmed by the independent channels.

QZERO can be used in applications intended for intermittent or continuous operation. For continuous operation with UV detection, UV sensors must be self-checking or equipped with a shutter controlled by external safety logic.

QZERO can be used to monitor burner flame in conjunction with automatic flame safeguards or PLCs. It can also be used where manual or semiautomatic control is allowed.
