ESA’s EMB-SIK-NxT series are low-NOx gas burners for direct heating. The shape of the silicon carbide flame tube produces an intense flame that allows high heat penetration. There’s also better temperature uniformity inside the combustion chamber, due to the high velocity of the combustion products.
This series applies the latest in technical expertise to ensure low-NOx and CO emissions, while remaining functional at low chamber temperatures (during ignition, when the furnace is cold).
EMB-SIK-NxTs are nozzle mix burners; air and fuel are mixed at the combustion head to avoid dangerous backfiring. The particular shape of the combustion head allows adjustments in stoichiometric ratio and in excess air or excess gas.
These low-nox gas burners burners are solid and robust, despite their light weight and small dimensions (ceramic fiber makes up most of the insulation).
Multistage combustion technology, together with strong recirculation of flu gases, guarantees low NOx and Co emission even with preheated air temperatures as low as 1112°F. (600°C)
