Digital business cards are superior to traditional printed cards for a variety of reasons— they’re convenient, cost-effective, environmentally sound, easily editable, and modern. QR codes can hold a lot of information, and when scanned, can immediately add you as a contact for new acquaintances.

We’ve decided to make the switch and encourage our employees to primarily use digital business cards. We’re focused on reducing our carbon-footprint, and strive to meet the standards set by ISO 14001. Digital cards eliminate the need for print, helping reduce waste. An added benefit is savings on printing costs.

Cost-effective

Traditional cards need updated when something changes; an email, a phone number, an address, etc. Once the change is made, the old cards become obsolete. If you want new printed cards, you need to updates files, send them to a printer, and wait for them to arrive.

QR codes are easy to edit, and digital cards can be quickly updated. No need to deal with a printer, wait for them to arrive, and remember to carry them around. Just update the info, save them to your device, and you’re good to go!

Modern

We’ve been using digital cards for a while now, and based on feedback, we’d say they’re a hit! Our reasoning for making the switch really seems to resonate with people. They’re used to being handed a card they might misplace or throw away. Thanks to the digital cards, we’re readily available on a device they always have on them!
